pola manajemen antara lain penguatan desain, pengembangan koleksi dan
regulasi akses, kedua, strategi pola inovasi antara lain dengan modernitas
teknologi informasi, sistem informasi dan resource sharing, ketiga pola integrasi
nilai multikultural antara lain demokrasi, humanisme, keadilan, kebersamaan
dan toleransi. Strategi yang dilakukan melalui penguatan pada nilai demokrasi
informasi, humanisme modernitas teknologi, keadilan dalam legalitas informasi,
kebersamaan dalam resource sharing dan mengembangkan toleransi dalam jasa
kemitraan dan layanan perpustakaan digital.

Abstract

In the history of human civilization, libraries are organizations that grow and
develop (growing organisms) that are able to adapt to the times. The transformation
of libraries in the information age has shifted the role of libraries in building
information accessibility. A number of factors related to information accessibility,
among others, stem from management, technology and culture, so a strategy is
needed in the development of digital libraries in the Library of Universities in
Malang, East Java. This qualitative-descriptive study used the paradigm of the
study of digital library development in building multicultural Islamic value-based
information accessibility. The method of collecting data was through interviews,
observation and documentation. For in-depth interviews, the selection of objects
employed a purposive sampling technique with twelve informants consisting of
the head of the library, head of division, digital collection manager, librarians
managing digital services, and students. The data were analyzed using the analysis
process proposed by Miles and Huberman which includes 3 (three) stages, i.e., data
reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study reveal that the
strategy of developing a digital library in the College Library in Malang into three
(3) patterns of approaches, including the pattern of management implementation,
technological modernity and cultural integration. The strategies carried out
include, first, the implementation of management patterns such as strengthening
design, developing collections and access regulation, secondly, innovation pattern
strategies include information technology modernity, information systems and
resource sharing, the three patterns of integration of multicultural values include
democracy, humanism, justice, togetherness and tolerance. The strategy is carried
out through strengthening the value of information democracy, humanism of
technological modernity, justice in information legality, togetherness in resource
sharing and developing tolerance in partnership services and digital library
services.
