            articles show that the interior, layout of the library space and furniture
            should be arranged in such a way as to make the user interact for a long time
            because the convenience library makes the visitor feel at home. Because
            the library is also designed to for everyone, the users feel that the library
            is the a «home», so there is no feeling of hesitation when doing activities
            in the library. In this phase, the library no longer functions as a place for
            people to read and borrow collections, but as a center of interaction (now
            known as the «public sphere»).


            Librarians as User Interactions Companion
                In contrast to interactions in other places, interaction between library
            users  is  always  intended  to  achieve  a  goal,  whether  it>s  exchanging
            knowledge and experience, finding a shared knowledge, finding new ideas
            or finding ways to solve problems together to be followed up with actions.
            Therefore, interactions in libraries are never «empty» interactions, are not
            interactions without provision or interaction objects. The idea that has long
            emerged from library activists is that when the library users are discussing,
            the library can provides material and provisions for them as references so
            that every idea, knowledge exchange and problem solving always has a
            reliable source of reference and can be justified.
                When information sources are available in digital form that can be
            accessed quickly through the Internet with gadgets that each user has, the
            provisions and materials no longer only come from the library, or even totally
            not in the library. Yet, not many users are able to choose and determine the
            information that they need from the millions of information available. This
            is where the presence of librarians is needed. Librarians with knowledge,
            and skills to find, to choose, to sort and determine the right information, will
            help the library user determine the most appropriate information to become
            the main reference for ongoing discussion. With the presence of librarians,
            many benefits are obtained when the library user conducts discussions,
            among others, librarians will only choose information whose sources can
            be  accounted  for,  qualified  and  reputable,  thus  it  is  impossible  for  the
            discussion to be provided with a source of «hoax». Another advantage of
            his ability in knowledge management, librarians will process all discussion
            material that is usually not properly stored by the users, into a sequential
            record and then managed to become knowledge that will be utilized by
            the users themselves. The next advantage is the presence of librarians, the
            passage of discussion, the exchange of experiences, knowledge exchange
            or problem solving will be more directed and orderly because the librarians
            have the knowledge to organize and sort information from the beginning
            until finally forming the goal achievement.
