Thesis ID M-01 was different due to published by the Faculty of
Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia. The model and method used
were the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by Davis (1989) for
identifying lecturer and students ISB when they accessed electronic journal
using cross-sectional quantitative approach. The findings showed that the
use of electronic resources in universities is increasing in line with the
need for information. However, utilisation is often not optimal. The results
supported TAM for the use of technology by adding Subjective Norm,
Facilitating Factors, and Computer Self-Efficacy variables. The results
showed 1) Subjective Norm variable is supporting Intention to Use (BI),
but Computer Self-Efficacy did not support Perceived Usefulness (U). 2)
Facilitating Factors did not support Actual Usage, and Computer Self-
Efficacy did not support the Perceived Ease of Use (E), 3) Actual Usage
is supporting Information Behaviour (BI). Thus, the discussion for TAM
application in LIS domain is needed for future work.
